The 2033 East Coast flooding was a series of devastating floods caused by a series of powerful tropical cyclones, which included the landfall of the particularly devastating Hurricane Julian, which made landfall in South Carolina as a Category 5 hurricane, with 165 mph winds. It was the only tropical cyclone to ever do this. The total amounts of rain reached a record 3,550 mm in total. 133 people died form the resulting flooding, 12 were left missing, and $35.26 billion was done in damages as a result of the storms.
