Cyclone Julio of 2033 was a catastrophic category 5 super cyclonic storm, which developed near the coast of Burma as a Depression on September 29th. Moving slowly to the northwest, the system was able to intensify into a 190 mph category cyclone, with 3-minute sustained winds at 165 mph. In addition to this, m the storm recorded the lowest pressure ever observed in the North Indian Ocean, attaining a minimal pressure of 897 mbar before its landfall in India on October 4th. Once inland, the cyclone slowly weakened, and degenerated into a remnant low as a it merged with a monsoonal trough over the Arabian Sea on October 6th. The cyclone was held accountable for 14,297 deaths, leaving 217 missing, and casuing a record $7.32 billion in damages whilst active. Rainfall records along the landfall location in India were also broken, with 3397mm being recorded near Odfisha, where the cyclone roared ashore, carrying 12 meter storm surges with it in the process. Gusts from the storm were recorded at an unbelievable 235 mph, obliterating many of the wooden structures in the storms path as a result of this.
